How are you and your business in this time of crisis?
We are 100% operational, everyone is working from home with no disruption in wages and benefits.
What do you think will happen after all quarantine period will all be lifted?
After the Quarantine period, everyone will have to adjust to the New Normal, Social Distancing will still be practiced as well as emphasis on Physical and Mental well-being.
What are the things you’re doing this lock down period?
Aside from working and doing online lessons with my kids, I ensure that my kids will feel safe and loved inside the house and that they will fell every bit of normalcy possible.
I am enjoying the seemingly long weekends we have right now, a nice reprieve from the very busy lifestyle we have before the ECQ.
What are some lessons you’ve learned during this pandemic?
I have learned that we should really live our life to the fullest, during this time, I really regret not having to say yes to all the invitations extended by my friends for a quick meet up over coffee. I regret procrastinating about eating at that new restaurant with my family. After this, I promise to spend more quality time with family and friends.
I also learned that mental well being, as well as love for and love of family, is more important that clothes, cars, and new gadgets.
What are the things you’re grateful for?
I am grateful for my job and my Company that has continued to provide for the needs of our employees.
I am grateful for my family because they are my main reason for existence and I love them so much, there is no one I would rather be with, than them during this Quarantine.
I am grateful for friends that keep in touch and keep me sane.
Most of all I am grateful for God’s never-ending grace, protection, compassion, love, and favor that He generously provides for me and my family.
Can you please share some stories of what you’re doing during quarantine?
I homeschooled my daughter for 2 months, and it really tested my patience but it also formed a deeper bond between me and her.
I have never gone out and went against any ECQ rules.
I ran a super hectic schedule before ECQ and I am really enjoying my slow time at home and just spending time with my family, while at home wearing loungewear the whole day and eating.
Eat, Pray, Love
Can you give some advice to other people and businesses out there during this pandemic?
My advice is that during this time, we should not be thinking more about profit, but more on Surviving and living.
The mere fact that we are all alive is already our profit for year 2020.
Do you agree that Blockchain can help sustain the economy?
When focusing on the blockchain and economic development, the foremost industry that takes the limelight is banking and finance. The combination of Blockchain and Fintech has simplified banking processes in many ways:
▪ Enforced identity verification and management process ▪ Introduced crypto payments ▪ Eradicated intermediaries.
Besides, the convergence of the two, which has resulted in decentralized finance-led financial software development companies to automate has also automated banking and accounting processes – right from organizing spreadsheets to filing all tax files effectively. Blockchain and its impact on different sectors, irrespective of the business domains are manifold. We see it instilling the factors of transparency, decentralization, and immutability in the economy. What we can reckon is that the economy will only get better and more transparent with the inclusion of Blockchain Technology in its ecosystem.
