The Glitch hackathon will take place from May 19 to May 21 at the Hana Global Campus in Incheon, hosted by Web3 venture studio Trinity. The goal of this hackathon, according to Trinity, is to encourage the widespread use of Web 3. It is a competition where diverse professionals, including planners, developers, and designers, compete to develop Web3 services.
A conference will be conducted on May 20, the second day of the hackathon, where international business executives who are driving the Web3 sector will be invited to give their perspectives on the Web3 industry and ecosystem. The conference is split into two parts, the first of which focuses on solutions for the evolving Web3 paradigm. Young-hoon Moon of Isosphere will discuss the culture and power of the future era brought on by Web3, and artist DADAZ will participate in a panel discussion on NFT communities that combine participation and rewards. Seok-moon Jeong, Head of Research for Korbit, will speak about the emergence of cryptocurrencies and future financial trends. Influencer DeFi Farmer Chosunsaeng and CEO of Superblock Jae-yoon Kim will describe challenging blockchain infrastructure from the perspective of the audience.
The second section will include simultaneous interpretation and talks for builders will be delivered by foreign speakers. Will O'Brien, the CEO of NFT Oasis, will discuss prospects and survival tactics for Korean Web3 entrepreneurs, while Tony Gu of NGC Ventures will discuss Web3 investment tactics for raising money. Hyeong-ju Heo and rapper Hwaji of the Dew Sisters will talk about career options for creator economics, and the web 3.0 game economy will be the topic of a panel discussion hosted by the crypto intelligence platform Xangle.
Trinity's CEO Jong-seon Jeon said, "Glitch will present a new paradigm for onboarding the Web3 industry," and "it will be an event that not only Web3 industry stakeholders but also various builders and the public can enjoy." He explained the planning intent.
Glitch Conference is an open event for everyone, and even if you don't participate in the hackathon, you can purchase tickets to attend. You can find more information about the conference and hackathon on the Glitch official website.
