Thus, the main event for the innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem has just announced the participation of programmer Vitálik Buterin (Moscow, 1994), known worldwide for being the co-founder of the blockchain network Ethereum and the cryptocurrency Ether, the second most important cryptocurrency in the world. Buterin is also known for being the co-founder of 'Bitcoin Magazine' in 2012, as well as the world's youngest 'crypto billionaire', according to 'Forbes’ magazine.
Buterin will present the keys to success for young entrepreneurs at South Summit Madrid 2023. An objective that is also shared by the representatives and managers of 21 national and international unicorns that have confirmed their participation in the meeting, including Glovo, Cabify, and Creditas.
#SouthSummit23 has also confirmed the participation of Darin Olien (USA, 1970), a well-known author, podcast host, and wellness expert with several books on health and wellness. In 2020, Olien produced and co-starred with actor Zac Efron in the series 'Down to Earth with Zac Efron', a two-season documentary aired on Netflix for which he won an Emmy Award.
Sustainability and the health of the planet will be one of the main points of debate in the conferences of the 11th edition of South Summit, not only with the representation of Darin Olien but also with the participation of John Elkington (UK, 1949), founding partner and executive chairman of Volans, a company aimed at bringing together the future thinking of sustainability, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
