Amsterdam, XX July 2023 - After a successful debut in 2022, MET AMS announces a new edition. From November 1st to 3rd, 2023, the Westergas site in Amsterdam will be transformed into the most inspiring place in the field of AI, AR, VR, XR, 3D, and Web3. This year's focus is on technology, culture, and creativity for the festival where emerging tech and creative minds meet.

This year, MET AMS focuses on the synergy between technology, culture, and creativity. With topics such as AI, AR, VR, 3D, and Web3 the festival presents a varied program that underlines the connection between these domains. Peter Meere, co-founder of MET AMS, says, "With the second edition of MET AMS, we delve deeper into how technology positively influences creativity, and we show through leading artists and brands how they make an impact in various industries. This year, technologies such as Augmented Reality and AI are added to the program. With our festival, we aim to create an inspiring place where you can not only learn about these new technologies but also experience their capabilities. Creativity is always at the forefront for us." The first international speakers confirmed: Harry Yeff, Stephy Fung, and Ingi Erlingsson MET AMS is made possible this year by co-head partner EPAM Systems, Inc., a leading digital transformation and product engineering company. Other partners involved include Snap Inc., Decentraland, Jägermeister, and Gamma.io. Venly, a platform with tools for Web3 development, is also back again as a partner. During MET AMS, renowned industry speakers take the stage to share their expertise and talk about how they use the latest technologies to stimulate creativity. Among them are AI voice artist Harry Yeff, an internationally renowned AI artist who uses AI to explore the boundaries of his own voice; 3D Digital Fashion Artist Stephy Fung, who explores the boundaries of digital fashion; and Ingi Erlingsson, the founder of Golden Wolf, an Emmy-nominated animation studio recently acquired by Doodles. With 20 years of experience, Ingi has been exploring how AI can help storytelling and improve the ways we bring stories to life. Immerse yourself in the world of Digital Craft, Digital Fashion, Virtual Worlds, and Gaming During the three-day festival, visitors will be immersed in a world of talks, interactive demos, and exhibitions presented by inspiring speakers, brands, and artists. MET AMS presents four content tracks that highlight the diversity of technology, culture, and creativity: Digital Craft, Digital Fashion, Virtual Worlds, and Gaming. Digital Craft: Discover the fascinating world of digital art, photography, and music created using advanced technologies such as AR, AI, NFTs, and more. Digital Fashion: Explore the latest developments in the field of digital fashion, both within the traditional fashion industry and emerging brands specifically focused on digital fashion. Virtual Worlds: Explore how different platforms stay relevant and adapt to rapidly changing technological landscapes through virtual worlds, also known as the Metaverse. Gaming: Discover the latest developments in the gaming world. From popular games like Fortnite, Roblox, Epic Games, and the use of the Unreal Engine to new forms of gaming that push boundaries.
