Web3 Social Hackathon - DeSoc Hackathon S1

Tako Protocol is joining Air Stack and DWF Labs to host the very first season of DeSoc Hackathon. It is a 17-day long hackathon starting on 02 Feb 2024 and ending on 18 Feb 2024. DeSoc Hackathon is a social-focused hackathon where participants will have the opportunity to explore the latest tools and techniques for advancing Web3 social. The core objective of the event will be for teams to plan, build, and execute over a short time frame — from concept to MVP.

In addition to the intense competition, experts from various fields also will conduct workshops, providing participants with valuable insights and sharing tips and tricks.

The event boasts a total prize pool of $15,000 with $5,000 to the Lens Protocol Smart Post prize, $5,000 to the best Airstack use case, and $5,000 to the best Tako use case. XMTP and Phala Network have also partnered as sponsors and will be offering cash prizes as bounties for their respective use cases. The goal of the event is to advance the Web3 social as participants are not restricted and are encouraged to explore unique ideas.

The Hackathon will showcase a distinguished panel of judges representing some of the crypto industry's standout institutions and projects, including DWF Labs, Superscrypt, Hashkey Capital, Polygon Lab, Linea, Phaver, and others.

Winners of the hackathon will have the opportunity to present their projects at a dedicated social impact-focused side event during ETH Denver.

This hackathon is brought to you by Tako Protocol, the open monetization layer for Web3 social with support from  Airstack, an API platform for web3 on-chain data and off-chain data, and DWF Labs, a global digital asset market maker and a multi-stage Web3 investment firm. BlockBeats, one of the most influential crypto media, is the official strategic media partner of DeSoc Hackathon.
